Junior Marketing Specialist
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Specialist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to support a Federal Government contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The individual we seek must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Must pass a background check for security clearance, be a U.S. citizen, and must be able to work on site in Washington, DC. 
 
Job Duties / Responsibilities include: 
  • Assist in developing and implementing the client’s brand strategy.
  • Strategize and plan various marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior.
  • Plan and manage marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings
  • Create content for marketing campaigns as needed. 
Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, business administration or public relations.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing coordination.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Experience using data analytics software for research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, organize, and prioritize work to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  • Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen. 
  • Must pass background check for security clearance.
